“Sounds Jealous,” “Not Wrong”: Fans Split After Chris ‘Mad Dog’ Russo Boldly Labels Jason & Travis Kelce’s Podcast ‘Stupid’

American sports radio personality Chris “Mad Dog” Russo did not hold back while revealing his true feelings about the “New Heights” podcast featuring NFL brother duo Jason and Travis Kelce.

Russo’s scathing remarks came after the Chiefs’ 13-16 loss against the Chargers in Week 14 of the NFL. After the game, Kelce chose not to speak to the media and instead shared his thoughts on the “New Heights Podcast.”

“Listen, all right, we all know he’s an all-timer and I could care less about stupid podcasts, but how about Kelce on Sunday afternoon?,” Russo began his rant.

Kelce’s choice of not speaking with the media struck a nerve with Russo, as he called out the Chiefs’ tight end for not talking to the media despite a lot of developments in the fixture, which included Patrick Mahomes’ ACL injury.

This divided a lot of fans on X, as a certain fan base agreed with Russo’s rant, while a certain section of the fan base also called Chris Russo jealous of the podcast’s success.

“He’s not wrong. I’m tired of those two,” wrote a fan.

“Mad Dog’s got a point,” said a fan.

“Can I just say he’s 100% right and he’s just saying what a lot are thinking anyhow,” stated a fan.

“He’s right though, give the reporters something, respect…,” remarked a fan.

    “He’s correct, commented a fan.

“He sounds jealous,” wrote another fan.

“Jealousy has many forms”, commented another fan.

“Kelce doesn’t owe this f**k anything”, stated another fan.

“He’s an idiot. It’s literally the number one sports podcast. New Heights is great,” said another fan.

    “Salty much?,” remarked another fan.

Meanwhile, the Chiefs’ loss against the Chargers has officially ended their playoff aspirations, as the Kansas-based side are now sitting with an overall 6-8 record.

Travis Kelce Declines On-Field Media For Third Time This Season

Kelce’s decision to not speak to the traditional media after the Chiefs’ loss to the Chargers is not a one-off occurrence.

This is apparently his third time where he has denied interacting with the on-field media personnel whilst giving a debrief and the insights pertaining to the game on his podcast, which he co-hosts alongside his brother, the former Philadelphia Eagles’ center Jason Kelce.
