The New England Patriots escaped Tampa with a win over the Buccaneers, and it was a close hard-fought victory. One of the reasons for that win is quarterback Drake Maye, who dug deep and helped carry the team to victory and further strengthening his argument for MVP this season.
His wife, Ann Michael Maye, traveled with the team to Tampa and witnessed the Patriots win. She then celebrated on her latest Instagram story, saying that the Pats have won again.
“Pats win again!” she wrote.

Drake Maye had a good night against the Bucs on the road, passing for 270 yards and scoring with two touchdown passes. He did have one interception in the game, though. He now has 2,555 passing yards for the season with a completion rate of 71.7%, and he has scored 19 touchdown passes already.
With that win, the New England Patriots now have an 8-2 record for the season and has dethroned the Buffalo Bills atop AFC East. The Bills were upset by the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, falling down to 6-3 in the standings after Week 10.

The game was also big for rookie TreVeyon Henderson, who finally had his first big game of the season, tallying two long touchdowns for 150 total rushing yards after carrying the ball 14 times. After the game, Drake Maye praised him, as well as wide receiver Kyle Williams.
“(Kyle’s) fast, you’re not gonna catch him,” Maye said after the game. . “Him and 32, TreVeyon, if they get going, you’re not catching them.”
Drake Maye Now Favorite To Win MVP
With the MVP talks growing louder after that performance against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Drake Maye has now shot up to No. 1 in the MVP odds, according to DraftKings Sportsbook. He leads the list with +275 odds, followed by Rams QB Matthew Stafford at +300, and then Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes at +500.
Previously, Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills had been the favorite to win the award, but after his team lost in a massive upset to the struggling Miami Dolphins, Allen is now ranked at No. 5, being overtaken by Maye, Stafford, Mahomes and Jonathan Taylor.
