Wide receiver Drake London has missed the last four games due to a PCL strain he sustained during the Atlanta Falcons’ game against the Carolina Panthers in Week 11. Since then, he has missed practice with the team, and his return has looked unlikely.

But a new update on his status for Week 16 has brought some hope for fans, as head coach Raheem Morris seemed somewhat confident that he could get significant practice during this week.
What happened to Drake London?
During Week 11’s loss to the Carolina Panthers, Drake London suffered a PCL strain in the last offensive play of the game for the Falcons. As he attempted to catch a pass, his left tibia slammed into the turf while his knee was flexed. He was immediately removed from the game, and it was expected his injury would take between four and six weeks to heal.
Is Drake London playing in Week 16?
During Wednesday’s press conference, Atlanta Falcons head coach Raheem Morris said the following about Drake London’s situation:
“Looking forward to seeing how much he’ll be able to give us this week,” Morris said of London’s status for Week 16
This doesn’t necessarily mean that he will start against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, but that he will likely be able to practice, and the team will assess from there.
Drake London’s Fantasy Outlook
For the time being, don’t commit to putting Drake London on your fantasy lineup, but you can be cautiously optimistic about him. We would recommend following up on him for the next few days, seeing if there is more news about his recovery. Do not discard him yet, as he could return before the end of the season. That’s a decision for next week, if you can postpone it.
