Wide receiver DK Metcalf and the Pittsburgh Steelers have a week off. After starting the year 3-1, the Steelers have extra time to prepare for their next matchup against the Cleveland Browns. For Metcalf, it likely means he can spend some extra time with his fiancée, Normani.
While their engagement was the talk of the sports world earlier this year, there are other major relationships that have generated attention in the entertainment world. Notably, on Sunday, Netflix star Keith Powers announced that he is engaged to singer and actress Ryan Destiny. Normani reposted the news to her Instagram story and left a one-word reaction.
“Yaaaaaaaaas,” Normani wrote.

Keith Powers is a famous actor who starred in the Netflix film Uglies in 2024. It was an adaptation of a 2005 novel of the same name, written by Scott Westerfield.
It was not a surprise to see that Normani wished Powers a happy engagement. She is often active on social media and never hesitates to celebrate her friends and family when they have big life events.
All You Need to Know About DK Metcalf’s Relationship with Normani
DK Metcalf and Normani’s relationship has been one of the biggest in the entertainment world for several years. The couple was first spotted together in 2022, but did not confirm their relationship until 2023. Rumors swirled over their relationship status before they confirmed it in July that year.
They have been in a strong relationship ever since. Metcalf even inspired Normani’s debut album, Dopamine, which was released in June 2024. Normani had been in the spotlight for years as part of Fifth Harmony. However, she took her time in starting her solo career. She wanted to be intentional, according to comments she made to Rolling Stone.
The couple eventually got engaged in March 2025 after a few years of dating. Metcalf announced it in his first press conference with the Pittsburgh Steelers after being traded from the Seattle Seahawks.
DK Metcalf is in the middle of his seventh NFL season, and first not as a member of the Seahawks. Metcalf was traded to the Steelers in the offseason. Through his first four games, he has 15 receptions on 22 targets for 261 yards and three TDs.
