Vanderbilt Commodores quarterback Diego Pavia comes in support of New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo, whose recent appearance on WWE Raw has become the subject of intense scrutiny.
The running back was at Madison Square Garden for WWE’s “Monday Night Raw” event. He was there with fellow stars Abdul Carter and Roy Robertson-Harris. At the event, Skattebo was also involved in a scuffle, leading to displeasure across the league for risking his health.
NFL safety T.J. Ward commented that the running back’s off-field activities could jeopardize his professional future:
“This how you make sure you have a short NFL career.”
Skattebo, who underwent a season-ending surgery in late October, took a stance against criticism, saying that people on the outside have no idea what he is dealing with emotionally and mentally, and that he is simply trying to find joy. He wrote:
“Aye, honestly, if you don’t like that I’m having a good time while dealing with a tough time, then just go ahead and unfollow and casually move on. I’m not able to play football and have the fun I’ve been having my whole life, so I am doing things outside the box, trying to find stuff to keep me happy. Enjoy the rest of y’all’s week and just don’t talk about me if you ain’t got nothing nice to say.”

What Happened To Cam Skattebo That Required Season-Ending Injury?
Cam Skattebo was picked in the fourth round by the New York Giants out of Arizona State. The rookie started in five games, rushing for 410 yards on 101 carries for five scores. He also caught two touchdowns through the air.
However, his fine season met with an unfortunate end as he sustained a serious lower‐leg injury during the Week 8 game against the Philadelphia Eagles. He suffered a dislocated right ankle, a fibula fracture, and a ruptured deltoid ligament.
Because of this, he had to be hospitalized and required surgery.
