Green Bay Packers defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt suffered one of the toughest moments of the Thanksgiving matchup against the Detroit Lions. He left the game with a concerning ankle injury that immediately sent worry through the Packers’ sideline.
The injury occurred late in the second half during a pressure sequence in which Micah Parsons stormed into the backfield. Wyatt went down awkwardly as multiple bodies collapsed around his leg, and he stayed on the turf while trainers rushed in.
After several minutes of evaluation, the medical staff stabilized his ankle and helped him onto the cart. He was officially ruled out for the remainder of the game shortly after being taken to the locker room. The early expectation from team reporters suggests the injury is significant.

The Packers are waiting on imaging to determine whether he has any shot of returning this season. The loss is a major blow to Green Bay’s defensive interior. Packers faithful would hope that Wyatt makes a speedy recovery and gets back on the field.
The game itself was a fast, physical showdown between two NFC rivals fighting for a playoff position. Green Bay delivered one of its strongest offensive performances of the year and walked away with a 31–24 victory.
Jordan Love threw four touchdown passes and repeatedly extended drives with pinpoint throws on third and fourth down. Detroit battled throughout and nearly mounted a comeback in the fourth quarter, driving deep into Packers territory.
With the victory, the Packers moved to 8–3–1 and strengthened their position in the NFC playoff race. Detroit slipped to 7–5, leaving them with more work to do in the final stretch of the season.
Eminem Surprised Fans with Halftime Performance
The atmosphere inside Ford Field hit another level during halftime, when Detroit native Jack White took the stage for the annual Thanksgiving show. The performance was already a highlight, but the crowd erupted when Eminem made a surprise appearance midway through the set.
The hip-hop legend stormed onto the stage and joined White for a powerful performance of his 2002 classic ‘Till I Collapse’, delivering one of the most memorable halftime moments. While the fans inside the stadium lost their minds over Eminem’s appearance, social media exploded with reactions as no one expected him to perform.
The collaboration between two Detroit legends felt fitting for the holiday showcase and represented Detroit’s strong presence in music. Notably, Eminem and his longtime manager, Paul Rosenberg, are the executive producers of the Lions’ halftime show.
