Deion Sanders Jr. Drops Heartwarming 4-Word Comment As Shedeur Sanders Unlocks Special Milestone After Tennessee Game

Cleveland Browns’ quarterback Shedeur Sanders delivered one of his most impressive individual performances during Cleveland’s narrow 31-29 defeat to the Tennessee Titans in week 14 of the NFL.

Though the result didn’t go the Browns’ way, the quarterback, who has been one of the revelations for the Browns so far this season, secured the Pepsi Zero Sugar NFL Rookie of Week 14 award.

This prompted his step brother, Deion Sanders Jr., to react to his achievement this week. He took to social media to celebrate his younger step sibling’s latest achievement with full pride, writing on X:

     “It’s a beautiful thing.”

Against the Tennessee Titans, Shedeur threw for 364 yards while accounting for four total touchdowns in the loss.

He also made the franchise record books by becoming the first Browns quarterback ever to combine 300-plus passing yards with at least three passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown in a single game.

Through his first three starts, Shedeur has compiled over 700 passing yards with five touchdowns against just two interceptions.

Shedeur Climbs To QB1 On The Depth Chart After Impressive Performances

Shedeur being named Rookie of the Week is just another milestone in the quarterback’s nascent NFL career as he has successfully moved up the Cleveland depth chart.

The depth chart now sees Sanders listed as QB1 and Gabriel bumped down to QB2. This is a stark contrast for Shedeur considering he started the season being a fourth-string quarterback.

Injury to Deshaun Watson and veteran Joe Flacco’s trade to the Cincinnati Bengals combined with his strong performances after a dream NFL debut start against the Las Vegas Raiders have seen him climb to the top spot as far as the depth chart is concerned.

His recent performances have meant that Sanders will now be the Cleveland Browns’ designated starter, as head coach Kevin Stefanski publicly committed to starting Sanders for the remainder of the 2025 season.

With the Browns sitting at 3-10 and playoff hopes long extinguished, Stefanski could use the remaining games as an audition for next season’s roster decisions.
