Will Davante Adams Play Week 16? What Fantasy Owners Should Know About Rams WR Ahead of TNF vs. Seahwaks

The Rams are on a roll, especially after beating the Detroit Lions during Week 15. However, that victory cost them wide receiver Davante Adams, who had to exit the game in the fourth quarter after getting injured. The question now is, will he be playing against the Seattle Seahawks for Thursday Night Football?

Should Adams miss the big game on Thursday, the Los Angeles Rams are going to be without one of their best weapons. While the Rams are a shoe-in for the playoffs already, their momentum could be blunted with a loss to the Seattle Seahawks, especially as both teams are battling for better seeding in the post-season.

Both teams are probably heading to the playoffs, but the game does have some division implications as the winner could take control of the NFC West and possibly take the No. 1 seed in the NFC.

    Is Davante Adams Hurt?

Previously, Davante Adams had been dealing with a hamstring injury, and during that game against the Lions, he reportedly re-aggravated that injury. Yes, he is hurt, though the injury is not considered to be that serious, as there is a chance he could still play.

Adams did not show up to any of the practices leading up to the TNF game and this could be a bad sign that he may not be playing. That being said, even though he has had a hamstring injury earlier this season, he has not yet missed any games so far.

Will Davante Adams Play Today vs. Seahawks?

Davante Adams has been an ironman for the Rams, but NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reported earlier this week that the wide receiver is considered “week-to-week” due to his hamstring injury. He added that he will be missing the game against the Seahawks on Thursday “almost certainly.”

Officially, Adams has been listed as “questionable” but the Rams may decide to rest him up on Thursday and maybe prepare him to make a comeback just in time for the playoffs.

For now, Fantasy managers better prepare to sit him, as he might certainly be missing Thursday’s important game.
