Dante Moore NFL Draft Projection: Top 5 Potential Landing Spots for Oregon’s QB

Dante Moore is pondering whether to declare for the NFL Draft. With the Oregon Ducks in the College Football Playoff, there is clearly a priority to focus on today than next year. However, if he does declare for the 2026 NFL Draft, the quarterback-needy league could always use more bodies.

Of course, some teams would make more sense for Moore than others. Here’s a look at the five teams that make the most sense for the Ducks quarterback should he decide to move on from college. Keep in mind, Moore is likely to be a first or second-round prospect after a 28-touchdown, eight-interception season.

Best 5 Landing Spots for Dante Moore

    #5 – Atlanta Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons are still not in perfect shape at quarterback, despite pulling out essentially every last stop between spending a high draft pick on Michael Penix Jr. and up to $180 million on Kirk Cousins (Spotrac). However, with Penix’s health issues in college, transferring to the NFL, it would not be a huge surprise to see Atlanta add another rookie quarterback.

    #4 – Miami Dolphins

The Tua Tagovailoa era seems all but over. Whether it’s an offseason trade or giving him the Kirk Cousins treatment as an expensive backup, Miami needs a new face. If Moore were to fall to Miami, it would be hard to decline an opportunity to get a rookie. Perhaps a trade with Tagovailoa and Ewers could pave the way for Dante Moore.

    #3 – Arizona Cardinals

Kyler Murray appears to have run out of time. The Arizona Cardinals quarterback has faced health troubles and limited production in his best moments. As such, a pivot to a new young face is required. Arizona, coming off what could be a three-win season, wouldn’t need much to go their way to spend a first-round pick on the quarterback, if they deem him worthy of such a gamble.

    #2 – Las Vegas Raiders

Not many expected Pete Carroll to be willing to spend time on a rookie quarterback when he was hired as a coach heading into an age-75 season, but the franchise might not have a choice. Carroll got Geno Smith, and it blew up in his face. As such, after watching former Oregon Ducks quarterback Bo Nix win the AFC West, John Spytek has every reason to pull the trigger even if it’s against Carroll’s wishes.

    #1 – New York Jets

The New York Jets are taking a look at everything. After sending away Quinnen Williams and Sauce Gardner earlier this season, it’s clear that no one is safe. While every player is on the chopping block, such an exodus opens the door for new players. Dante Moore could be the first big addition to the rebuilding process. It certainly wouldn’t be the first time the Jets spent a high pick on a quarterback.
