Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid was in for a breakout season in his third season in the league.
After the Bills drafted the tight end in the first-round of the 2023 NFL Draft, Kincaid had two solid seasons to start his career. As a rookie, he recorded 73 receptions for 673 yards and two receiving touchdowns. In his second season, Kincaid played in three less games and recorded 44 receptions for 448 yards and two receiving touchdowns.
In the first eight games of the 2025 NFL season, Kincaid surpassed his touchdown total of the last two seasons with four receiving touchdowns, and had the same amount of receiving yards (448) as he did all of last season.
Looking to have a breakout year and establish himself as one of the league’s best tight ends, Kincaid suffered a minor setback in the middle of the season.
What Happened to Dalton Kincaid?
Dalton Kincaid has not been active since the Bill’s Week 10 game against the Miami Dolphins. Kincaid left the game with a hamstring injury and did not return after recording two receptions for 37 yards.
The hamstring injury has been a bit of a bother, as it has kept him out of the last three games.

Will Dalton Kincaid Play Week 14?
Dalton Kincaid was close to making his return last week for the Buffalo Bills against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but was ultimately ruled inactive. He practiced on a limited capacity last week, and today, in the Bills’ Wednesday walkthrough, he will be limited.
All signs points to a good chance of Kincaid returning back to the field this week, barring any setbacks.
