Dalton Kincaid Injury: Bills Offer Major Update on Popular Tight End’s Return

The Buffalo Bills suffered arguably its worst loss of the season, losing to the Miami Dolphins 30-13 in Week 10. The Dolphins jumped out to a 16-0 lead at halftime, and held Josh Allen and the Bills to just 13 second half points while scoring a pair of touchdowns in the fourth quarter.

To add insult to injury (literally) Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid left Sunday’s game in the third quarter and did not return. During the Bills’ first offensive possession in the third quarter, Kincaid was seen grabbing his right hamstring and hobbling off the field. Before Kincaid left to the go to the locker room to get checked out, he was ruled out for the remainder of the game.

Kincaid did not return back to the game, and as a result he is considered week-to-week.

Kincaid could miss this weekend’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and could even miss more time. His status in practice throughout the week should provide more clarity on the extent of his injury.

Dawson Knox, Khalil Shakir Could Be Featured More This Sunday if Dalton Kincaid is Out in Week 11

While it is early in the week, it sounds like there’s a good chance that Dalton Kincaid doesn’t play this week.

If Kincaid is out, that would be a huge blow for Buffalo, who would be without its leader in touchdown receptions (4). Kincaid is second on the team in receiving yards (448) and third in receptions (29.)

Fantasy owners can expect an increased volume of production/targets from backup tight end Dawson Knox and wide receivers Khalil Shakir and Keon Coleman if Kincaid is ruled out for Sunday.

More importantly, the Bills need to come away with a win if they want to stay in contention for the AFC East division. They fell to 6-3 following yesterday’s loss to Miami and trail the 8-2 New England Patriots.
