The Seattle Seahawks have been dealing with the injury bug as of late, and it is bound to affect them during their Week 9 showdown against the Washington Commanders. Several big names on the Seahawks roster have shown up on the injury report, including star wide receiver Cooper Kupp.
Cooper Kupp Injury Update
Cooper Kupp is dealing with multiple injuries, including ones on his heel and hamstrung. He did fully practice on Wednesday, but this was soon downgraded to a limited practice on Thursday, indicating that the team is trying to be careful in approaching the injury. However, this does not confirm if he would be missing Sunday’s big game or not.
Will Cooper Kupp Play This Week
While he practiced on Wednesday and Thursday, Kupp was held out on Friday, and ESPN reporter Adam Schefter reported that Seattle has listed Kupp as questionable and will likely not play against the Commanders on Saturday.
For now, he is officially listed as questionable, but with him not practicing the day before, it is highly likely that he will not be playing.
This poses a big problem for Seattle, as his backup, Dareke Young, has been listed as out coming into the game. Tory Horton will likely be promoted to the No. 2 receiver role, with Cody White and Ricky White already being elevated from the practice squad to address the Seahawks’ WR shortage.
