The Philadelphia Eagles’ cornerback, Cooper DeJean, and WWE star Nikki Bella have been the hottest unofficial NFL celebrity couple for a week. There have been a lot of rumors about them on the internet, but everything remains unconfirmed for now.
Bella, during a recent appearance on Monday Night Raw, said something that would perk up ears once again. The 42-year-old openly rooted for the Philadelphia Eagles while throwing shade at the Lions.
Now, it’s worth noting that the WWE star has been a longtime Eagles fan. She has attended several Eagles games in the past and has been spotted wearing the Eagles jersey, even during her day-to-day routine.
Despite that, taunting Lions fans while hyping up the Eagles amid all the rumors about her dating the cornerback is like another piece to this puzzle.
“This [pointing to herself] is what champions look like, do you got that?” Bella SAID. “How would you people know what champions look like. I mean, you root for the Lions. I mean, let’s be honest, the Lions wish they were as good as the Philadelphia Eagles, am I right?”

Going strictly by the league chart right now, she’s not wrong. The Eagles are at the top of the NFC East chart with a 10-5 record and have made their way into the playoffs. That can’t be said about the Lions.
The Detroit franchise is struggling in the NFC North with an 8-7 record while they watch their playoff chance slip away. As per The Athletic, they have a 3% chance of making the cut. To say that they’d wish to be like the Eagles isn’t an outrageous statement as of now.
Nikki Bella Subtly Addressed the Cooper DeJean Dating Rumors
During a recent visit to the Eagles game, Bella went to the team’s locker room. In a video posted on Instagram by the WWE star, she was seen sitting in front of DeJean’s locker room while posing for the cameras.
That sparked the dating rumors between the two. However, shortly after the buzz took over the internet, she subtly addressed the rumors without taking any names. She talked about her love life on SiriusXM’s ‘The Nikki and Brie Show’.
“It’s crazy because I actually haven’t been touched or done anything in so long and he’s like ‘Oh,’ and I go, ‘Yeah,’ Nikki said. “So, it’s funny when people call me a wh*re when I actually haven’t had intimacy in a really long time. Even think of kissing.”
After that statement, many thought that the rumors were baseless and that everything was a mere coincidence.
