“Davis Mills Should Not Be Beating Josh Allen”: Colin Cowherd Refuses To Accept Bills Loss As Josh Allen Disasterclass Leads To 23-19 TNF Meltdown

Colin Cowherd didn’t hold back on “The Herd” following Buffalo’s shocking Thursday Night Football collapse against Houston.

The sports media personality dissected the Bills’ 23-19 loss to the Texans team, starting backup quarterback, pointing fingers at everyone from the front office to the offensive line.

Cowherd, on his show, stated that the Buffalo Bills are losing games against teams with “average” quarterbacks and further emphasized that players like Davis Mills should not be beating the likes of Josh Allen.

“The Bills are getting into a really bad habit of losing to average quarterbacks”, Cowherd stated (1:14).

“Their last three losses are to Tua, Michael Pennix, and Davis Mills. And I know he’s a pro, but Davis Mills should not be beating Josh Allen”, he further elaborated (1:19).

Cowherd also acknowledged how the Bills got outclassed by the Texans in all departments, and he also compared the rosters of both the Bills and the Texans, calling the former’s roster not good.

“At D-line, wide receiver and corner, Houston’s much better”, Cowherd acknowledged (0:55).

“There’s seven or eight great rosters in this league. Buffalo’s not one of them”, he further explained (0:47).

Meanwhile, the Bills have dropped to 7-4, falling further behind the New England Patriots in the AFC East race.

Texans’ Defense Dominates With Eight Sacks Over Josh Allen

The Texans’ defense in their 23-19 win over the Bills sacked Allen eight times for 70 yards as Allen managed just 253 passing yards without a single touchdown pass, a stark contrast to his 6-touchdown display against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week.

Meanwhile, Davis Mills orchestrated two lengthy scoring drives of 77 and 75 yards for the Texans as they also ran for over 100 yards in the game.

Mills finished with a modest 153 yards passing and two touchdowns, but managed the game efficiently with zero turnovers.

The Texans’ defense allowed just 16.3 points per game coming into Thursday night, and it’s fair to say their defense has held its own despite a disappointing overall record of 6-5 this season.
