Shedeur Sanders has a huge opportunity this Sunday, basically the chance he has been asking for since joining the Cleveland Browns after this year’s NFL Draft. The former Colorado quarterback will have the opportunity to make his first NFL regular-season career start against the Las Vegas Raiders this weekend. This, as quarterback Dillon Gabriel remains in the concussion protocol, after taking a big hit against the Baltimore Ravens last Sunday.
The opportunity is a big one, since the embattled Browns are facing a similarly poor-performing team in the Raiders, which allows the signal-caller to start his NFL career with a win. It’s possibly a point of personal pride for him also, as before the NFL Draft, Shedeur Sanders heavily signaled that he would like to join the Raiders.
That ultimately didn’t happen, as they passed him over in the first round, and he was then passed over all the way until Cleveland picked him in the fifth round.

In preparation for the momentous occasion, his younger sister, Shelomi Sanders, seemingly had a cryptic message for him. Through her latest Instagram story, Shelomi Sanders seems to be asking her brother not to get caught in the anxiety of the moment, and that whatever happens, he’s already a successful and privileged man.
“You’re already blessed in so many ways. Focus on that,” read the message Shelomi Sanders posted to her Instagram story
A victory would be a huge deal for the franchise, which has won just one game under Dillon Gabriel’s leadership.
Shedeur Sanders Has $200,000 Worth of Property Stolen Ahead of Sunday’s Game
This week’s game preparation for Shedeur Sanders has already been overly stressful. But not for football reasons. Last Sunday, approximately $200,000 worth of property from Sander’s home was stolen during a break-in, according to the Medina County Sheriff’s Office.
The break-in took place at around 6:46 pm ET last Sunday, and the robbers were heading out of the property at around 6:58 pm ET. Cameras captured the moment the intruders broke into the property and their exit.
This occurred as Shedeur Sanders was making his NFL regular-season debut, as he took over Dillon Gabriel during last Sunday’s defeat to the Baltimore Ravens.
