The Los Angeles Chargers will head into Week 6 against the Miami Dolphins with an injury-riddled roster. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the Chargers will miss four of their significant contributors for their Sunday fixture against the Dolphins.
Chargers now have ruled out OT Joe Alt, OT Trey Pipkins, WR Derius Davis and DL Da’Shawn Hand for Sunday’s game vs. the Dolphins.

Rookie sensation Joe Alt will be out for the knee injury, which is extremely devastating to the offensive line.

Trey Pipkins III will also be out since, which essentially removes both starting tackles off the board. The right tackle is going through a knee injury and hasn’t recovered enough to play.
Wide receiver Derius Davis and defensive lineman Da’Shawn Hand are out as well. Davis is struggling with a knee injury, while Hand has a groin injury.
The bad news for Chargers doesn’t end there, as five players, namely Jamaree Salyer, Bud Dupree, Quentin Johnston, Scott Matlock and Denzel Perryman have been listed as questionable this weekend.

Jamaree Salyer’s knee issue is terrible news for an already depleted offensive line. Outside linebacker Bud Dupree is also questionable with a hamstring issue, as will be wide receiver Quentin Johnston.
Mekhi Becton Back to Full Strength After Hand Injury
There was some good news as well in the form of three players who gained medical clearance to participate in full practice sessions. Right guard Mekhi Becton has returned to full strength after a hand injury. Veteran receiver Keenan Allen was listed out for rest reasons but is prepared for action. Ja’Sir Taylor was sick earlier in the week, but was back on the practice field.
In the meantime, the Dolphins have a substantial historical advantage vs. Los Angeles, particularly in Miami, where, over the last eight games played in South Florida, the Dolphins have won seven.
