The Dallas Cowboys are set to face divisional rival Washington this weekend, and they might be able to count on CeeDee Lamb for the first time in weeks. According to reports, the wide receiver participated in practice this week for the first time in weeks, although in a limited fashion.

Lamb also spoke with ESPN and told Todd Archer that he expects to be available for Sunday’s game against the Commanders:
“I feel like I’m moving around, running around, being me,” Lamb said, per ESPN’s Todd Archer. “Happy as can be obviously just believing in my ankle. Obviously, I feel like it’s back to where I needed it to be.”
“I feel like that’s why we took an extra week just to make sure that I had that comfort,” he said. “Just to make sure that I had that same explosiveness, just to make sure that I had that same stability.”
The Cowboys are in dire need of his services, with their season being a disappointment so far. At the moment, America’s team has a flimsy record of 2-3-1. The game is an important one, as a victory would move Dallas one spot up to the second position of the NFC East, currently occupied by Washington.
Nonetheless, offense hasn’t been the problem for the Cowboys. Wide receiver George Pickens has been able to fill in properly for him, with two 100-yard games.
What Happened to CeeDee Lamb?
CeeDee Lamb has been off the field since Week 3, when he suffered a high ankle sprain in a defeat to the Chicago Bears. The injury occurred in the first half of that game. Without him, despite a bad record, Dallas has had a high-scoring offense led by quarterback Dak Prescott and wide receiver George Pickens.
Dallas is currently the top offense in yards per game in the NFL. However, they’re the worst defense in the league, also allowing the most yards per game.
CeeDee Lamb Fantasy Outlook
It’s safe to say that CeDee Lamb will play on Sunday against the Washington Commanders. However, a few questions remain. How effective will he be? And how much action will he be allowed to see?
If possible, fantasy players should find another wide receiver to start during Week 7. What they should avoid is trading him, as he will likely see far more action down the road.
