CeeDee Lamb went through a scary moment in Thursday’s game against the Detroit Lions. During the 44-30 defeat, Lamb took a big hit to the head in the third quarter as he tried to grab a pass from Dak Prescott in the end zone.
Immediately as the play ended, it was evident that the wide receiver was feeling disoriented as he moved in pain and confusion. Prescott, other Cowboys players, and the team’s medical staff immediately moved to check on him.

The player was evaluated in the medical tent, and he was immediately ruled out for the rest of the game with a concussion. Fans were scared by the extent of the injury, but it now seems like the player is doing better than expected, judging by his latest Instagram story.
He wrote:
“blessed in an understatement. Love yall,”
CeeDee Lamb recorded 121 receiving yards in six catches during the defeat to the Lions.

It’s impossible to say that the Cowboys’ offensive unit didn’t do its job, after all, it scored a whopping 30 points. It’s just that the Lions did even more on offense.
That’s what Brian Schottenheimer seemed to feel when he spoke with the press in the aftermath of the game:
“It seemed like every time we got some momentum, they hit another explosive play,” Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer said. “They have a lot of speed, and they can make big plays.”
And that’s the entire problem with the Cowboys’ season so far. While they have proven to be one of the best teams in offense all year long, their defense is never there to back that up. Any team that consistently scores 30+ points, but has a record of 6-6-1, has to look itself in the mirror and wonder how are they wasting so much offensive output.
