According to TMZ, Aileen Lopera, an influencer from the Los Angeles area, has sued the four-time Pro Bowler for the paternity of her daughter. The petition was introduced in Los Angeles County in December 2024, before the child was born in April 2025.

Lopera and Diggs were mandated by a judge to submit to genetic testing on July 17 at the request of the New England Patriots player. It’s unknown if either of them has gone ahead with the test or not. While the attorney for the NFL star hasn’t commented on the matter, Lopera’s lawyer gave the following statement to The Sun this week:

“My client looks forward to the day Mr. Diggs acknowledges and provides for his infant daughter in Los Angeles.”

According to court documents, Stefon Diggs has said he is not certain he fathered the child and has requested genetic testing. Aileen Lopera named the child Charliee Harper Diggs-Lopera, giving her Diggs’s last name.

Cardi B revealed her pregnancy on a CBS Mornings interview with journalist Gayle King. King asked about the rumours of the Grammy Award winner being pregnant, to which she replied (0:50):

“Well, yes, I am. I’m having a baby with my boyfriend, Stefon Diggs.”

After being congratulated by King, she was asked how she felt about her pregnancy and how it’s been affecting her.

“I’m happy,” she said. “I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong, very powerful that I’m doing all this work — but I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby.”

She went on to say that she feels supported by Stefon Diggs and that she’s excited to be with someone who’s in a similar headspace about his career prospects as she is with hers.
