Cam Skattebo’s Gruesome Season Ending Injury vs Eagles Draws Heartfelt Response From Jaxson Dart

The New York Giants’ difficult season has taken a devastating turn as Rookie running back Cam Skattebo is officially out for the season after suffering a severe dislocated right ankle. The injury took during the team’s Week 8 game against the Eagles.

Dart quickly took to social media to share a heartfelt response. He affirmed his support for his injured teammate.

Dart’s Instagram story featured two photos of the rookie duo. The top image showed them laughing at a press conference. The bottom image showed them focused on the sideline.

“my brother Mann. Got your back no matter what dawg! GODS PLAN,” Dart wrote.

The damage was significant, requiring immediate medical attention and Cam is already scheduled to undergo surgery in Philadelphia.

This marks a premature and brutal end to a promising rookie campaign as Skattebo had been a rare bright spot for New York. In just eight weeks, he had already scored seven touchdowns.

The Giants’ injury woes are piling up. The loss of Skattebo comes after another major blow. Star rookie wideout Malik Nabers is also out for the year after suffering a season-ending ACL tear earlier in the campaign.
