New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo’s girlfriend, Chloe Rodriguez recently shared a glimpse into how he is tackling his injury recovery with holidays around the corner.
Rodriguez captured Skattebo in the middle of decorating a Christmas tree and he was seen sporting a cast on his leg and yet he stood up to place an ornament on the tree.
His girlfriend shared the image on her Instagram story and added a two-word caption, writing: “too soon? 🎄”

The story featured Skattebo who had a noticeable pink cast on his right leg extending from his foot to just below his knee, but nevertheless he was busily decorating the large tree.
Skattebo’s promising first session of NFL experience was cut short when the rookie suffered a serious injury in Week 8 of the 2025 NFL season.
It was a painful injury, as multiple reports indicated that Skattebo suffered both a dislocated ankle and fractured fibula, along with a ruptured deltoid ligament.
The Giants star underwent successful emergency surgery shortly after and his recovery timeline is estimated to be four to six months.
Rodriguez has been with him throughout this whole journey and is often seen celebrating him at Giants games.
They met in 2020 at California State University in Sacramento, where he was a prominent player for the university’s football team and Rodriguez was a cheerleader for the university.
Their relationship became public around 2022 and then they moved to the East Coast in 2025 when Cam joined the New York Giants.
