Bucky Irving Injury: Latest Fantasy Football Update on Buccaneers RB

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will not be playing for Week 9 as they are currently on a bye week. This cannot have happened at a better time for the Bucs, as many of their players are either playing while hurt or are out with an injury, including Bucky Irving. The running back missed their game against the struggling New Orleans Saints and has now been out for a month due to having not just an injured foot, but an injured shoulder as well.

This bye week gets him more time to rest and heal his injury, as he has not played since Week 4, when the team lost to the Philadelphia Eagles. Still, the Bucs have been playing well, even though they have been dealing with a lot of injuries, as the team currently has a record of 6-2.

    Bucky Irving Injury Update

The Buccaneers have not placed Irving in the injured reserve, even though he has missed four straight games already. This means that the team may be optimistic about his injury not being that serious. So far, the Bucs have been very coy about giving updates about their injured star running back, which has frustrated many fans.

Many are still questioning why Irving was not placed on the injured reserve, with the outlook being less and less optimistic about his return. Not being in the injured reserve means he could return at any time, but with him not returning for a month already, many are now wondering if he would even return at all.

    When Will Bucky Irving Return?

With Tampa Bay still not saying much about Irving’s injury, it is still unknown when he will return. With the team being bye this week, he should have more time to heal himself up and get fans more optimistic, but there are a lack of updates regarding his condition for now. It is possible that he may return by Week 10, but with the lack of updates, that outlook is still very much unclear.

    Bucky Irving Fantasy Outlook

For Week 9, whether he is healthy or not, Bucky Irving will not be playing as the Bucs have a bye week. That being said, the waters are still muddy regarding whether or not he will be back by Week 10. Him not being in the injured reserve suggests his injuries are not that serious and that he can come back at any time, but the lack of updates from the team is raising some eyebrows.

For now, Fantasy managers should consider still sitting him out, with his backup, Rachaad White, being one of the top choices. With the Bucs on bye, however, Kimani Vidal and Hassan Haskins from the Chargers are decent choices to pick up.
