The Carolina Panthers are struggling through the first half of their game against the Arizona Cardinals. The poor play of their quarterback, Bryce Young, has been partly to blame for the Cardinals’ 27-3 halftime lead. Young has thrown for 111 yards, with a completion percentage that is on the lower end at 64.7%.
However, the biggest concern is that he lost a fumble and an interception on his first drive of the game. The fumble was immediately recovered by Arizona and returned for a touchdown. This was followed by an interception by Young in Carolina’s following drive, leading to the phrase “Bryce Young sucks” trending on Google search.
Fans didn’t waste time reacting to the young quarterback’s struggles this Sunday.
“Bryce young is a bust done defending this man lmao,” lamented one fan.
“Anyone who pushed the Bryce Young agenda this offseason has a special place in hell,” complained another person.
“Bryce young offseason hype is just a prime example on how long nfl offseason actually is,” joked someone.
Could Bryce Young be out of a job next year?

Maybe it’s not a good time to be a football fan from the Carolinas.
“I really have to go from watching Cade Klubnik on Saturdays to watching Bryce Young on Sundays,” said a Clemson and Carolina Panthers fan.
Someone took the time to count Bryce Young’s turnovers so far this season.
“That’s four turnovers for Bryce Young in the first 61 minutes, 33 seconds of the season,” recounted someone.
Bryce Young and Kyler Murray, two very different stories
Unlike the Carolina Panthers quarterback, Kyler Murray has shown himself to be a safe pair of hands for the Arizona Cardinals. He has thrown for 182 yards so far, with one touchdown pass.
Murray’s completion percentage is just slightly better than Young’s, at 70%. More importantly, he hasn’t given up the ball to the opposing team.

His touchdown came in the second quarter, during a six-play, 45-yard, 47-second drive, which ended with him handing the ball to wide receiver Michael Wilson with an 11-yard touchdown pass, with six seconds left on the clock for the first half.
