Bowers missed three games in October due to the knee injury, but with the Raiders entering Week 17 with a 3-12 record, they’re focusing on Bowers being fully healthy for next season.
In 12 games played this season, Bowers recorded 64 catches for 680 yards and seven receiving touchdowns.
The Giants also placed safety Jeremy Chinn on injured reserve, ending his season as well.
Las Vegas Raiders-New York Giants Game Sunday Is For The No. 1 Pick
A lot is on the line when the Las Vegas Raiders host the New York Giants this Sunday. With both teams entering Sunday’s game with 2-13 records, they each hold the first and second overall picks in the 2026 NFL Draft, with the Giants currently having the No. 1 overall pick.

The loser of Sunday’s game will actually come out as the bigger winner. Whoever losses Sunday’s game will hold the No. 1 overall pick.
Now of course, in hindsight, it would be better to lose, to be in the driver’s seat for the No. 1 overall pick as both teams will look to rebuild next season, but many players and coaches will be battling for their jobs.
Both teams enter on a nine-game losing streak and someone has to win. Who do you think will come out on top with a victory this Sunday?
