Braxton Berrios’ girlfriend, Alix Earle, is back in Miami and wasted no time slipping into vacation mode. She shared a new video lounging poolside with a friend, dancing in a brown bikini with oversized black sunglasses, enjoying the warm weather, and having a much-needed break after a hectic few months.
Miami has always been the place she returns to whenever she needs to reset. The trip comes shortly after her strong run on Dancing with the Stars, a season where she exceeded expectations and fought her way to the finals.
Her performances earned her national attention and introduced her to a wider audience outside the social-media world. Earle finished runner-up, but the exposure sharpened her mainstream appeal and pushed her into a new tier of celebrity.

Her DWTS journey also sparked relationship chatter. Braxton Berrios was absent from the live finale, setting off speculation online about possible trouble between them. The rumors spread fast, but Earle shut them down soon after, explaining that his NFL commitments kept him from attending.
He still supported her with a prerecorded message on the broadcast, and the two were seen celebrating together later. With that clarification, the breakup talk cooled off.
Why Is Braxton Berrios Inactive?
Berrios’ absence from recent Texans games has been tied to his health. His game log shows only four appearances this season. In those outings, he totaled six catches for 37 yards. Since that Week 10 matchup, he has not played a snap.
The reason is a lingering hamstring injury that has kept him off the field and out of Houston’s rotation. Soft-tissue injuries like these can drag on, especially for older receivers who rely heavily on acceleration and sharp cut movements.
At 30, Berrios is at a stage where teams handle recovery with caution. Coaches know the risk of re-aggravation is high, and the wrong decision could cost him the remainder of the season. Houston has taken the conservative route, keeping him inactive while he works back into football shape.
His future in the league rests on how well he bounces back. Berrios has built a career on reliability, versatility, and special-teams value. But the NFL moves quickly, and receivers in their thirties face a narrowing window.
A strong return could secure his next contract. Continued setbacks could put pressure on his roster spot going forward. For now, the Texans are waiting, and Berrios is working to get healthy enough to reclaim a role when he’s cleared.
