San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk‘s whereabouts are still to be determined, as even his own teammate is looking for him. On Tuesday, Dec. 30, fellow 49ers wide receiver Kendrick Bourne was posted by NFL reporter Dov Kleiman, as Bourne recently appeared on the “Speakeasy” podcast hosted by Emmanuel Acho and LeSean ‘Shady’ McCoy.
In the clip, Bourne was asked about the last time he personally saw Aiyuk. Worried about his teammate, Bourne said it has been a couple of months already. This comes after Aiyuk recently took to social media to upload videos of himself speeding in his sports car near the 49ers’ home stadium.
“He’s kind of MIA too within the building, man. So, it’s been tough. I’ve been praying for him, man, because I know how tough it is, you know? When you chasing certain things and what you gain, so it’s concerning. It is very concerning. So all I can really do is pray for him,” Bourne said before answering whether he has seen him in the past two months. “Nah, we ain’t seen him. We all seen him in the car speeding.”

Without the services of Aiyuk, Bourne, and the rest of coach Kyle Shanahan’s 2025 49ers squad has managed a current record of 12-4, momentarily getting placed as the second seed in the NFC West. The team has one last game for this year’s regular-season campaign, which is against Mike Macdonald’s Seattle Seahawks on Saturday, Jan. 3, on their home pitch, Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

Kendrick Bourne Also Described The Kind Of Relationship He Has With Brandon Aiyuk
On the same podcast, Kendrick Bourne described his relationship with Brandon Aiyuk.
Before the speculations on Aiyuk’s whereabouts, reports flew everywhere that Aiyuk was simply recovering from his torn right ACL and MCL.
“ Man, it’s crazy. So my last year here I was with BA, his rookie year, COVID, and we had a good relationship, man. It was great. And so when I came back, I saw him a little bit. When I first got in the building, I missed Week 1, and I saw him a little bit. So I didn’t really know what’s going on. I was just pouring to him like, ‘Hey man, how you doing?,’ seeing him in Asana sometimes rehabbing, and then it kind of, all the things happened,” Bourne explained.
