The stage has been set for the NFL playoffs, and Bon Nix and the Denver Broncos are entering the postseason as the No. 1 seed in the AFC. It was a tight finish as the Broncos had not yet secured the No. 1 seed, but a 19-3 win over the LA Chargers on Sunday cemented that standing and prevented either the Jacksonville Jaguars or the New England Patriots from getting that top spot.
In celebration of such an achievement, Bo Nix’s wife, Izzy, took to social media and posted a photo of herself with her husband at the Empower Field at Mile High, the Broncos’ home stadium, and congratulated him and his teammates for securing that No. 1 seed in the AFC.
“#1 SEED!!! So proud!” she posted on Instagram.
This was after the game, with the Broncos dominating their opponents, an also playoff-bound Chargers, though LA did rest many of its starters ahead of the playoffs and basically gave Denver that No. 1 seed without much of a fight.
Meanwhile, Izzy also posted another Instagram story with fellow NFL wives, Kennedy Stidham, wife of Jarrett Stidham, and Cami Jo Ehlinger, wife of Sam Ehlinger. However, they hinted that their little group might be breaking up soon, as trades and releases might be happening after the season ends.
“& thank goodness we don’t have to leave each other yet,” Izzy wrote.
The Broncos, who could have rested their starters, chose not to for the final game of the regular season, as they sought to secure the No. 1 seed against the undermanned Chargers, who chose to rest their starters instead.

As for how Bo Nix met his wife, Izzy, it is the classic romance between a quarterback and the cheerleader. They both met at Auburn University, and that is where the two of them met, with Nix an up-and-coming quarterback for the Tigers and Izzy being a part of the school’s cheer squad.
When Bo Nix transferred to Oregon, she went with him. At that time, they were already engaged, with Nix popping the question at the Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn. Now, they are happily married, with Izzy proudly flying the Broncos’ colors whenever her husband’s team plays.
