Bo Nix’s Wife Izzy Admits Nervousness As Broncos Clinch Close 33–32 Win Over New York Giants in Week 7

The Denver Broncos escaped their showdown against the New York Giants with one of the biggest comebacks of the season, and Bo Nix was one of the main factors for that comeback. It was a heart-stopping comeback win that saw the Broncos score 33 points in the fourth quarter to overcome a 19-0 lead by the Giants as the final period began.

The game certainly got on fans’ nerves, and one nervous Broncos fan, Bo Nix’s wife, Izzy, admitted that she could finally breathe after her husband and his team pulled off that improbable comeback win.

“I’m still alive but I’m barely breathing. GO BRONCOS!!!!!!” she wrote.

The lyrics in her caption was taken from The Script’s hit song, “Breakeven,” and it pretty much summed up what Broncos fans were feeling during that fourth quarter against the Giants.

In her Instagram Stories, Izzy Nix also posted about her husband’s historic night, as Bo Nix became the first player in NFL history to score over two rushing touchdowns and over two passing touchdowns in just one quarter. This all happened in that fourth quarter as the Broncos were held scoreless during the first three.

The Giants scored at will with 19 unanswered points during the first three quarters. They still scored 13 against the Broncos in the third, but it was not enough to stop the furious comeback led by Nix himself, as he rallied his team from the brink.

Denver Broncos Player Admits He Lost Hope in Winning vs. Giants Until Bo Nix Leads Team to Comeback Win

After trailing 19-0 at home, the Denver Broncos were very disheartened, as the Giants were just running wild al; over them during the first three quarters. Broncos cornerback Patrick Surtain II said so himself during the post-game press conference.

“I lost hope, I ain’t gonna lie. I lost hope,” he told reporters.

However, Bo Nix came alive as he rallied his teammates and made history. Jaxson Dart soon tried to shut the Broncos run down with a big score to extend the Giants’ lead, but it instead lit a fire in the surging Broncos, with Surtain explaining that they never gave up on the game.

“We fought to the end,” he said. “In this league, no matter how much you’re down, there’s always a will, and there’s always a way.”

Nix admitted that he himself was surprised at how much they scored in a single quarter, calling the comeback “insane.”
