Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix threw two interceptions in Thursday Night Football’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Though they emerged as 10-7 winners, Nix was booed at Broncos home.
After the game at Empower Field Mile High, Nix was asked about his feelings when he was booed in his own backyard.
“Well, I’ve been booed before and I’ll be booed again, so it’s not going to be the last time,” Nix said. “It’s obviously unfortunate. You don’t want your own fans booing you, but, you know, it’s part of it.”

Bo Nix Acknowledged Shortcomings On Broncos’ Offense
Bo Nix and the Broncos are living on the edge. While their defensive unit have been the real reason behind their seven-game winning streak, their offense have fallen short of expectations. There have been so many games this season where the Broncos couldn’t muster more than 20 points in the full game.
Knowing the offensive struggles, the Broncos quarterback took full responsibility, saying:
“I think you got to stay level-headed and understand it is the NFL and seven wins are hard to come by, so you’re doing something right. But at the same time, you’re also doing something wrong because there’s plenty left on the table, I think. Between penalties and just some sluggish football, we’re just not playing very good. It starts with me. I got to be better, and the rest of the guys will follow along.”
Broncos running back J.K. Dobbins echoed the sentiments, knowing it’s the defense that’s winning them games, making offensive players a subject of boos.
“Yeah, cool, we’re 8-2 … [but] the defense is winning us the games and we’re not helping them, we’re not doing them any justice,” Dobbins said. “I feel bad the way we play on offense and the way they play on defense, because they’re doing so great and we’re doing so bad.”
The Broncos are 8-2 and look prime to make the playoffs. But they need to improve their offense if they want to big games.
