Best Defenses For Fantasy Playoffs: Top 10 Picks That Will Help You Win Your League Ft. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Playoff time is here. For fantasy owners, this is pretty much it. Win and advance. One bad week, and all of a sudden, it’s going to be no more fantasy football. Defenses will be the backbone of most teams. Here are the top 10 that could help you win your league.

    Top 10 Playoff Defenses

    1. Houston Texans

This is by far the easiest pick of the playoffs. The Texans are sitting at the top of the fantasy rankings as of right now. If you have them, you start them and just let them ride. This week could be a challenge against the Chiefs, but it should be smooth sailing from there.

    2. Los Angles Rams

Not the best week last week for the Rams. This should be a bounce-back if they want to compete for a Super Bowl. The Cardinals are in town this week, which should be a good momentum boost.

    3. Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles are sitting in a good spot as well, looking forward. They don’t have a hard path going forward. They have also been able to stop offenses the past few weeks. Not to mention Philly has the Commanders twice on the leftover schedule, which should be interesting at the least.

    4. Seattle Seahawks

The number one defense in fantasy. Not sure there is really more to say here. They have been dominant, they play the Falcons, and they can win games by themselves. This is just a very easy pick.

    5. Buffalo Bills

The Bills added plenty of respect to their defense after they held the Steelers to 7. Looking down the line, the Bills could struggle, though, with the Bengals and Patriots on deck. If they can repeat last week, they will have huge value.

    6. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Bucs have made this defense list two weeks in a row. Tampa had a decent outing against the Cardinals and has a favorable schedule ahead. They are going to need to stay competitive to win the division; an easy lock here.

    7. Denver Broncos

The Broncos have had their moments, but also injuries that have stopped them recently. They play the Raiders this week and should be in better shape going forward.

    8. Cleveland Browns

It seems off to list the Browns on a fantasy list, yet here we are. The Browns’ defense has played absolutely great the last few weeks. They are keeping their team in the game over and over again. The front seven is especially dangerous, and they play the Titans this week.

    9. Baltimore Ravens

Rough week for the Ravens this Thanksgiving. It was Burrow, though. They are playing better, so the benefit of the doubt comes in here. The Steelers are next. Ravens make this list, barely.

    10. Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys will make the last pick on this list simply because they look like they have something. Back-to-back weeks of good up-front pressure and the Chargers and Commanders on the schedule. Dallas could be an option.

    Bottom Line

Defense may not be the most popular position in fantasy football. Now it will be everything. Every point matters in the playoffs. One bad position could be the difference between winning and losing.
