The Week 7 showdown between the Atlanta Falcons and the San Francisco 49ers has proven that the Falcons have been struggling, with the Niners dominating them 20-10. While the Niners were less than perfect in that game, with plenty of mishaps that should have costed them the game, it was the Falcons’ struggles that spoke louder.
Soon enough, fans took to the internet to post some memes making fun of the Falcons being dominated by the injury-riddled San Francisco 49ers:

Using Bijan Robinson as a receiver more than Drake London then pulling Robinson on a 4th and 1 to throw the ball instead of punching the 1st down is exactly why the falcons lost tonight pic.twitter.com/jpWOHUksDL

Watching this patchwork 49ers defense dominate the Falcons makes me think – how bad is the Bills defense? Yes, we adjusted in the second half, but c’mon. pic.twitter.com/TbNnocaES2

Falcons got all this talent on offense just to score 0 vs the Panthers and barely get 10 points vs a beat up 49ers team…. It hurts to watch

The 49ers were still pretty banged up, even with superstar tight end George Kittle returning, as QB1 Brock Purdy is also still out with an injury. However, it was CMC himself, Christian McCaffrey, who led the hobbled 49ers to victory with 201 yards from scrimmage.
Atlanta Falcons Struggled Offensively Again
Earlier in the season, the Atlanta Falcons scored zero points in a one-sided beatdown from the Carolina Panthers. While they managed to score 10 against the injury-plagued 49ers, they still had a pretty bad offensive game.
Ranked 27th in the league in scoring, Atlanta was rattled when quarterback Michael Penix Jr. was sacked by San Francisco 49ers DE Bryce Huff during the second quarter, They were only down four points at that time, but that sack forced a fumble that more or less cemented the Niners victory, as they converted it to three more points to extend the lead. The Falcons never bounced back and their rushing game struggled to move forward.
