To no surprise, Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown has been one of the best wide receivers in the NFL this year.
After three-straight Pro Bowl selections and two All-Pro honors, St. Brown has followed up season five with another productive year. Heading into Week 14, St. Brown ranks sixth in receptions (75), fifth in receiving yards (884), and second in receiving touchdowns (9.)
As the Lions prepare to host the Dallas Cowboys in Thursday Night Football for Week 14, they could be without St. Brown.
Amon-Ra St Brown Injury Update
Amon-Ra St. Brown suffered an injury in the first quarter of last Thursday’s 31-27 loss to the Green Bay Packers. St. Brown got his ankle rolled up as he was hit off guard and left the game and did not return. It was later revealed that he suffered a low ankle sprain.
Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown is believed to have suffered a low ankle sprain Sunday, sources say, and while he continues to be evaluated, it’s good news so far on his chances for returning sooner than later.

Is Amon-Ra St Brown Playing Week 14 vs. Cowboys?
It’s less than six hours away from tonight’s kickoff, and there’s still no word on whether or not Amon-Ra St. Brown will play. ESPN NFL reporter Adam Schefter Tweeted at 2:05 p.m. ET that St. Brown did not participate in practice all week and that next week is a more ‘realistic expectation.’ Still, he has not been ruled officially out yet.
Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown did not practice this week due to his ankle sprain and a return next week was considered the more “realistic expectation”, per source.
