Braxton Berrios and Alix Earle are two halves of one of the most well-known couples in North American sports. While they do not have the fame of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, they still have a lot of popularity among fans. Berrios is a wide receiver and kick return specialist for the Houston Texans. Earle is a social media personality who is currently competing on Dancing with the Stars.
On Tuesday, the latest episode of Season 34 was released. Shortly before the start of the episode, Earle posted a photo on her Instagram story in a stunning white outfit.
She posted this photo shortly before putting on a stellar performance in Week 9 of the season. The seven remaining teams reinterpreted a memorable freestyle performance by showing a dancing style they had not learned. Earle and her partner, Val, dud a foxtrot dance to “Signin’ in the Rain” by Matthew Morrison. Their performance was inspired by Nev Schulman and Jenna Johnson from season 29.
Their performance turned out to be one of the best of the night. They got a perfect score of 40, receiving 10s from all four judges. They were one of four teams that received a perfect score.
Earle was also one of six participants who competed in a dance relay for two bonus points. Whitney and Mark earned immunity from the dance relays because they had received the highest cumulative number of points this season so far.
For the relay, Alix Earle danced with season 33 winner Joey Graziadei. They lost the showdown against Robert and season 32 winner Xochitl Gomez.
Alix Earle and Her Partner, Val, Advance to the Semifinals of Dancing with the Stars
By surviving Week 9, Alix Earle and Val advance to the semifinals of season 34 of Dancing with the Stars. Andy and Emma were the team that failed to advance, getting eliminated in Week 9.
For Week 10 and the semifinals, each team will perform two unlearned dances to songs by Prince. Earle will be competing for a spot in the finals. Her boyfriend, Braxton Berrios, will likely be watching and supporting for as she tries to put on her best performance of the season.
