George Kittle’s San Francisco 49ers crushed the Chicago Bears at home with a 42-38 win. The 49ers have already clinched a playoff spot, but now they have eyes on clinching the NFC West, and this game helped their case.
While the players gave it all on the field to secure a crucial win against Chicago, the wives and girlfriends of 49ers stars were in the suite celebrating the win.
In a video posted by Kittle’s wife, Claire Kittle, the WAGs can be seen celebrating the win.

The 49ers have a very capable offense, and they’ve proven it in almost every game this season. However, their defense has been a major problem, and they were reminded of this flaw once again during the Chicago game.
This is something that they must look into immediately because the playoffs are not far away now. If the 49ers wish to make a deep run in the postseason, they will have to get their defense in order. Coach Kyle Shanahan noticed the mistakes.
“There’s a lot we can clean up from the whole game,” 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan said. “We made too many mistakes, but to get it done, they were at their best when the best was needed. To stop them on the last drive was huge.”
“We had some opportunities to get off on third down that we hurt ourselves on, so we tried to clean up those mistakes, and didn’t do it well throughout the whole game,” he added.
The playoff-bound team wouldn’t want to drop all momentum as soon as the playoffs start. They still have one more game in the regular season, but the main focus in that game would be something else.
Can George Kittle’s 49ers Secure the NFC West?
This has been a major turnaround by the 49ers as compared to what they did last season. In 2023-24, they clinched the conference with a 12-5 record. In 2024-25, the 49ers weren’t the same team.
They finished at the bottom of the NFC West with a 6-11 record. Now, they are on the verge of securing the NFC West title. Their only competition is the Seattle Seahawks, currently at the top of the table with 13-3.
A win against the Seahawks in Week 18 will help them get there. If they lose, they’ll end up being the number five or six seed in the NFC playoff race.
