NFL Draft Rumors: How Many QBs Will Go Top 15 In 2025 NFL Draft?

As the 2025 NFL Draft draws closer, NFL teams are likely finalizing their shortlists of top prospects. Analysts are starting to offer clearer insights into the draft class, particularly on the most talented players and positions. While there’s plenty of debate about where certain players will land, the quarterback class remains a hot topic.

This year’s draft class is generally seen as lacking in high-quality quarterbacks, with Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders, Miami’s Cam Ward, and Alabama’s Jalen Milroe considered the top quarterbacks. However, many feel the depth of other positions like defensive end, running back, and offensive tackle is much stronger.

Daniel Jeremiah’s Top 15 NFL Mock Draft Picks

With uncertainty surrounding this year’s draft class, NFL analyst Daniel Jeremiah has released his third mock draft, “Daniel Jeremiah 2025 NFL Mock Draft 3.0.” In this mock, Jeremiah has included just two quarterbacks in his top 15 picks.

    Cam Ward – Tennessee Titans

The Miami quarterback is projected to go first overall to the Tennessee Titans. Ward finished fourth in the 2024 Heisman Trophy voting and also earned the Davey O’Brien and Manning Awards. He was named First-team All-ACC and a consensus All-American in 2024.

    Abdul Carter – Cleveland Browns

The edge rusher from Penn State is one of the draft’s best prospects. Carter finished his junior season with 12 sacks and 61 pressures. He was named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year and was a unanimous All-American.

Shedeur Sanders – New York Giants

There are rumors that Sanders could go second or third, depending on what position Cleveland prioritizes. If Cleveland doesn’t select him, the Giants are expected to pick him up. Sanders wrapped up his college career with 14,347 yards, 134 passing touchdowns, and 17 rushing touchdowns.

Travis Hunter – New England Patriots

Hunter, the two-way player from Colorado, is expected to join the Patriots. The 2025 Heisman Trophy winner made history as the only player to win both the Chuck Bednarik and Fred Biletnikoff awards. He also won the Paul Hornung Award twice and was the 2024 AP College Football Player of the Year.

    Jalon Walker – Jacksonville Jaguars

Walker, an elite edge rusher from Georgia, won the 2024 Butkus Award and was named to the AP All-America Third Team. In three seasons with Georgia, Walker totaled 89 tackles, 12.5 sacks, one blocked kick, one forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries.

Ashton Jeanty – Las Vegas Raiders

The running back from Boise State finished as the Heisman Trophy runner-up in 2024. He led the FBS in rushing yards and touchdowns and won both the Maxwell and Doak Walker awards. Jeanty is widely regarded as the top running back in this draft class.

Armand Membou – New York Jets

The Jets are looking to strengthen their offensive line and Membou, an offensive tackle from Missouri, is emerging as a top prospect. He was named second-team All-SEC in 2024.

    Mason Graham – Carolina Panthers

The Panthers aimed to improve their defensive line during free agency but fell short. They could look to Mason Graham, a defensive tackle from Michigan, to help bolster their defensive front.

Jihaad Campbell – New Orleans Saints

The Alabama linebacker was named second-team All-American and first-team All-SEC. In 2024, Campbell recorded 117 tackles and was a semifinalist for the Bednarik and Butkus Awards.

    Will Campbell – Chicago Bears

The Bears are overhauling their offensive line to provide more protection for quarterback Caleb Williams. Will Campbell, an offensive tackle from LSU, is seen as the final piece. He was a consensus All-American and won the 2024 Jacobs Blocking Trophy.

Other players rounding out Daniel Jeremiah’s top 15 picks include Jahdae Barron (San Francisco 49ers), Mathew Golden (Dallas Cowboys), Malaki Starks (Miami Dolphins), Tyler Warren (Indianapolis Colts), and Will Johnson (Atlanta Falcons).
