    Top 2025 NFL Combine Opt-Outs

Several players will wait until their Pro Days to participate in on-field drills and testing, while others are injured and can only participate in interviews and medical testing. Who’s out of the 2025 NFL Combine

    • Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado Buffaloes (Opt-out from drills and testing)
    • Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State Broncos (Opt-out from drills and testing)
    • Shavon Revel, CB, East Carolina Pirates (Injury)
    • Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State Buckeyes (Injury)
    • Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame Fighting Irish (Injury)
    • Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State Nittany Lions (Injury)
    • Elijah Arroyo, TE, Miami Hurricanes (Injury)
    • Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan Wolverines (Injury)

The biggest question mark is Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward, who is reportedly undecided on whether or not he’ll throw at the NFL Combine. Fellow top QB Shedeur Sanders has already stated that he’ll wait until Colorado’s Pro Day to throw and go through athletic testing.

It wouldn’t be surprising for more top quarterbacks to opt out of portions of the NFL Combine as it’s not uncommon for top signal-callers to wait until their Pro Days to throw.
