Tetaioa McMillan Brings a Lot of Skill, Traits to the NFL

Baldinger is an NFL insider with serious credibility. In his recent post on X, he used video of some of McMillan’s catches while playing for the Arizona Wildcats.

“For TMac it is just beginning because his ability to make spectacular catches and then after the catch, the run after the catch right here, he doesn’t just run he glides. He is under 4.5, you can just tell. But his specialty are these contested catches right here, one after another you put it up there he is going to go get it.”

Baldinger goes on to say that McMillan has elite hands and can track the ball well, which also helps when making those contested catches.

McMillan is also skilled at maximizing how he runs his receiver routes by changing speeds, which allows him to create separation with defensive players. Fantasy Life called McMillan “a downfield killer.”

McMillan is a 6’4″, 212-pound receiver who, according to Baldinger, “can put the defender on his back and outstretch and outjump everybody for it.”

Fantasy Life compared McMillan Drake London, the Atlanta Falcons receiver who went 8th overall in the 2022 draft.

It also said McMillan “is very comfortable in the air, and no defensive back is getting higher than him.”

London had a strong college career at USC with the Trojans. He had an outstanding 2021 season in which he averaged 12.3 yards a carry, 1,084 yards, and seven touchdowns.

McMillan had a similar 2023 season, which many viewed as his coming-out party in college football. He had 90 catches for 1,402 yards and 10 touchdowns.
