New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers paid an emotional tribute to his late LSU teammate, Kyren Lacy. The late LSU WR tragically died on April 12 at the age of 24. He was found dead in his car in Houston after a police pursuit. According to authorities, it was an apparent suicide by firearm.
Nabers, who is on a four-year, $29,207,750 contract with the Giants, shared a custom thigh pad on his Instagram Story, which features an illustration of himself alongside Lacy, both in their LSU uniforms. The artwork has the two players standing side by side, their backs turned, wearing jerseys with their respective numbers “8” and “2.”

Before Lacy was found dead in his car, the former LSU receiver had a verbal disagreement with a family member which led to him using a firearm on the ground and then taking off with his car.
A patrol constable tried stopping Lacy’s car over a multi-mile chase. When the pursuit finally came to an end, Lacy was seen dead with a self-inflicted gunshot, with both dashcam and body camera footage confirming the same.
Malik Nabers is now trying to remember his former teammate using his football gear.
