New Mexico State Aggies 2024 Football Schedule

Following double-digit wins a year ago, the New Mexico State program underwent vast changes this offseason. Can they win half as many this fall?

The future is now for the New Mexico State Aggies football program. With the legendary Jerry Kill stepping aside following a historic season a year ago, the Aggies are set up to compete once again within the Conference USA.

The Aggies play a unique schedule, even against CUSA standards. First up is a winnable game against FCS SE Missouri State before defending CUSA Champs Liberty come to town.

After that, it’s consecutive road trips against Fresno State and Sam Houston before their annual rivalry matchup with New Mexico. Midweek CUSA play begins with a tough one against Jacksonville State but seemingly levels out with games against Louisiana Tech and FIU over the next three weeks.

Though NMST spoiled the fun for an SEC foe last season, that kind of success may not repeat itself with a game at Texas A&M on November 16, especially considering they’ll head into that game following a tough game against WKU just prior.

Winnable contests against Middle Tennessee and UTEP close out their season in 2024, a year that looks difficult to repeat a 10-win outing from a year ago.

The 20th annual Conference USA Championship Game will feature the top two finishers in conference play and is set to be played on Friday, December 6. CBS Sports Network will broadcast the CUSA Championship Game.
