The Nebraska Cornhuskers will be hosting several of the nation’s best prospects. These include players from many different classes and states, including Leon Noil.
Noil is the 19th overall player in Louisiana and the 59th overall at his position. He is a three-star recruit per Rivals rankings. He’s scheduled a visit to Nebraska ahead of his commitment. Nebraska currently has four commitments in the 2026 class, which ranks 57th overall in the country per Rivals rankings.

Noil is one of the most intriguing offensive linemen in the Bayou State. He’s had offers from multiple programs, including Nebraska, but he’s drawn a final list of schools he’ll consider and scheduled program visits.
Noil will visit the University of Central Florida (UCF) on May 30, Baylor University on June 6, Nebraska on June 12, Houston on June 16, and Mississippi State on June 20.

The Cornhuskers currently have four commits from the 2026 class in Dayton Raiola, quarterback and brother to Nebraska’s QB Dylan Raiola, CJ Bronaugh (Safety), Jase Reynolds (Linebacker), and Dveyoun Bonwell-Witte (Wide receiver).
Head coach Matt Rhule and the Cornhuskers have yet to secure a commitment from any offensive lineman in the class. Securing one would give the Cornhuskers the opportunity to build around their quarterback and continue to add talent to the offensive line.
Rhule recently voiced his opinion on college football expansion. All signs point to the Playoff expanding to 14 or 16 teams before the 2026 season, but Rhule favors making it larger, with the head coach proposing a playoff of 40 teams.

“The more spots the better, man. Make that thing 40 and let’s go,” Rhule said, according to On3. “I think, again, you’re talking about a league that we play nine conference games, where some others play 8. So I think that puts you at an automatic disadvantage.”
