Stephen Curry Reveals Reason Behind Wearing Devin Booker’s Shoes

Stephen Curry has been without a shoe deal for more than a month now. After his fallout with Under Armour, Curry has been a sneaker-free agent. Curry has kept the full propriety of his signature brand. He has been linked with different brands now, with Nike and Adidas obviously being at the forefront.

There was a collective shock in the NBA when Stephen Curry and Under Armour ended their 12-year partnership. After one of the longest deals came to an end, there was also a lot of curiosity as to where Steph would take his signature brand. He has worn different shoes during this time, and most recently, he wore Devin Booker’s shoes against the Phoenix Suns. Steph also humorously explained the reasoning behind it.

“Me and Book, the relationship we’ve been able to build over the last couple of years especially. But since he has been in the league and playing together at the Olympics. There’s a bond there for sure. So I was trying to beat him in his own shoes,” Steph said about wearing DBook’s shoes as the Warriors lost 98-99 vs the Suns.
