The Golden State Warriors have struggled with inconsistency this season despite Stephen Curry’s good form. Curry has been averaging 28.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 4.3 assists this season in the 22 games that he has featured in.
The Warriors have jumped rope around .500. They have lost games due to sluggish defense and weak use of the bunch, some of the same problems from last year. Injuries to key contributors and the limited availability of Stephen Curry, Al Horford and Draymond Green have exposed some lack of quality on the Warriors roster.
The Warriors have a record of 4-5 without Steph. However, even with Steph, the Warriors are 12-10. The Warriors have been average this season. The team has not used their momentum whenever they have had a winning run. They are on a 3-game winning streak now, but they are still in need of some reinforcements, especially in defense. According to the rumors and reports, the Warriors are exploring their options to go for Anthony Davis.

“Today I found something very interesting. I came on last week and told you what Warriors are looking for. They are looking for a big man, rim-running big man, to protect the paint, lob threat. I was told they are contemplating making a case to acquire Anthony Davis as well. With that being said, I was told that Dallas is not that fascinated with what Golden State Warriors has on its books. So the Golden State Warrior did really wanna make a true play at Anthony Davis but would likely have to acquire some more assets, or involve another team.” Chris B. Haynes reported.
There have also been reports that the Atlanta Hawks are also very intrigued by the possibility of trading for Anthony Davis. Chris B. Haynes reports that the Hawks would obviously want to keep Trae Young. So the trade would include the remaining pieces from the Hawks’ roster. According to Haynes, Hawks present a really attractive asset package for Dallas to consider a possible trade.
Fans react to Stephen Curry and Anthony Davis’ possible union
Fans were not totally on board with the Warriors’ interest in Anthony Davis.
“Do it not like our best center play every game anyway,” one Warriors fan said.
“Give up Kuminga, Pods, Moody and some picks,” one fan suggested.
“Trade for him then rest him until the playoffs,” another fan commented.
“They’re building a championship team or a hospital?”, one fan joked.
“Any team trying trade for him already lost the trade. Dallas take whatever. He barely plays half a season yearly,” another fan claimed.
“Bad for him since he left L.A. it’s more than just basketball. Hopefully he finds a team where he can still help,” another fan hoped.
