LeBron James and Luka Doncic dropped 30 apiece. LA enters this clash with a 23-11 record, good for third in the West.
Meanwhile, the Spurs are on a two-game losing streak. They unexpectedly dropped games against the Portland Trail Blazers and Memphis Grizzlies. San Antonio also played on Tuesday, losing 106-105 to Memphis, courtesy of a Cam Spencer game-winning 3-pointer.
This would be the third game in the Lakers-Spurs 2025-26 season series. The teams have split the results in their two previous meetings, with San Antonio winning the most recent matchup 132-119 on Dec. 10 in the NBA Cup quarterfinal.

The Lakers will remain without Austin Reaves, Rui Hachimura and Adou Thiero. Reaves is sidelined with a calf strain, while Hachimura is also recovering from a calf strain. Thiero has an MCL sprain.
LeBron James will join them on the sidelines, citing right sciatica and left foot joint arthritis.
San Antonio Spurs injury report
Devin Vassell is out for the Spurs with a left adductor strain. Meanwhile, Victor Wembanyama has been upgraded to available on the second night of a back-to-back after coming off a knee injury. He came off the bench on Tuesday while playing on a minute restriction.
