The LA Clippers will begin a three-game Eastern Conference road trip with a clash against the New York Knicks. Wednesday’s contest at Madison Square Garden will be the first of two meetings between the teams this regular season.

LA Clippers vs New York Knicks Preview and Prediction
The LA Clippers had a forgettable start to this season, boasting a 6-21 record over the first two months. Since Dec. 20, however, the team has looked like a completely different group. The Clippers have won seven of their last eight games, climbing to 12th place in the Western Conference with a 13-22 record.
Much of that turnaround has been driven by Kawhi Leonard, who has been averaging 35.0 points, 8.3 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game during that stretch.
The New York Knicks, meanwhile, have witnessed a dip in their form since their NBA Cup Finals victory over the San Antonio Spurs. After that victory on Dec. 16, Jalen Brunson and co. have gone 5-6, stumbling to the third spot in the Eastern Conference standings.
Even with the stark contrast in their recent forms, the Knicks are still favored heading into Wednesday’s matchup. New York is far healthier, with only Josh Hart and Landry Shamet expected to miss the game, and the team has been dominant at home with a 15-4 record. The Clippers, on the other hand, could be shorthanded with James Harden, Bogdan Bogdanovic, and Derrick Jones Jr. featured on the injury report.
Prediction: Expect the Knicks to win by seven points.
