Jaylen Brown is in his 10th season in the NBA after getting selected as the third pick by the Boston Celtics in the 2016 NBA Draft. Since his debut, he has made decent progress every year. However, over the last few years, he has really come to perform at his true potential.
The 4x All-Star won the 2024 NBA championship. Apart from that, he also won Eastern Conference Finals MVP and the NBA Finals MVP. This season, Brown has unlocked another level. He is averaging 29.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 4.9 assists in 27 games.
The Celtics are doing really well this season. They stand third in the Eastern Conference with an 18-11 record. In the absence of Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown has picked up the Celtics’ responsibility on his shoulders. Recently, Brown made a huge claim about his current season.
“That don’t mean that there’s a lot of dudes that better than me on court. I don’t care who you say right now, ain’t nobody doing it better than me right now,” Jaylen Brown said.

JB has averaged 32 points, 7.7 rebounds, 5.9 assists, and 1.4 steals over the past 10 years. Brown thinks he is in better form than Nikola Jokic, Luka Doncic, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

Fans online understood where Brown was coming from, and most of them backed the Celtics star. However, there were a few who disagreed with that assessment.
