Ty Dillon recently reshared a comical video on social media, mocking the referee after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the Carolina Panthers 16-14 this week. The clip shows blown whistles and slow-motion flag throws. It aimed to criticize several disputed calls that changed the game late against Dillion’s favorite NFL team.
The NFL game featured a flagged play that wiped out a big Panthers gain and other rulings that drew widespread criticism. Some replays showed contact well inside the five-yard zone before the flag appeared. Many viewers alleged that the officiating favored Tampa Bay and said the matchup felt rigged.
The full-time NASCAR Cup driver for Kaulig Racing also shared the same sentiment and posted a comedy skit by digital creator Ben Houselog, who captioned the video “NFL investigate this.”

Meanwhile, Dillon, who is the grandson of NASCAR team owner Richard Childress and the younger brother of Cup Series driver for their family team RCR, Austin Dillon, has been a Panthers fan since childhood.
During a 2017 interaction with Cat Scratch Reader, the 33-year-old said:
“The Panthers were founded in 1993 and I was born in 1995, so the franchise was started around the time I was born which automatically made them special for me. Also, being from North Carolina, it’s the only team I’ve ever known, and my brother and I have loved them our whole lives.”
Meanwhile, Dillon returned full-time to the Cup Series last season in the No. 10 Chevrolet. He had one top-10 run and finished the year 33rd in the final points standings.

DraftKings and Grizzly Nicotine Pouches also supported Dillon in select races during the 2025 season, but are not yet confirmed for 2026. DraftKings served as an exclusive sports betting partner on the No. 10 car at World Wide Technology and Kansas in 2025, while Grizzly appeared in nine races that season.
