The UNLV Rebels will travel to take on the Boise State Broncos in the Mountain West Championship Game. This is only after the Rebels won the tiebreaker against Colorado State following their Week 14 victory over Nevada.
In a rematch of their earlier 2024 matchup, Boise State is currently 1-0 over UNLV this year.
Which Teams Play in the Mountain West?
Despite all the buzz around college football realignment in recent seasons, the Mountain West remained steadfast, staying true to its core identity. While it hadn’t entirely ignored the idea of adding new teams, the conference’s core 12 teams remained unchanged.
However, in 2024, the Mountain West made a significant move, announcing it had amended its schedule to include the now-defunct Pac-12’s Oregon State and Washington State.
