Rekindling their famed rivalry, the Tigers are no strangers to taking on their ‘new conference foe’ Oklahoma. Playing together annually for decades, the Missouri Tigers and Oklahoma Sooners are underrated national rivals.
They’ve not played against one another since 2011, the year prior to Missouri joining the SEC, but they have played each other a grand total of 96 times in their illustrious history. The Tigers have some catching up to do as the Sooners hold the all-time series record, 67-24-5.
Also on their schedule, Missouri has some difficult road games ahead of them. They’ll play at Bryant-Denny Stadium against Alabama and travel to Kyle Field for a date with Texas A&M.
Some intriguing home games include Vanderbilt, Arkansas, and Auburn all coming to town and their non-conference schedule includes a Power Five matchup against Boston College of the ACC.

On the surface, their 12-game 2024 football schedule looks like it’ll be a hard crawl to repeat a 10-win season. But with the way Kirby Moore and Eli Drinkwitz has turned this team around, it’s certainly doable.
For the first time since 1991, the SEC will not feature divisions in the conference. The top two teams will square off at the end of the year in the SEC Championship Game to culminate the season. With Oklahoma and Texas in the conference this season, the 2024 campaign truly means more.
