Multiple Michigan Stars Threaten Paige Shiver To Change Testimonial Against Sherrone Moore: Report

The Michigan Wolverines fired head coach Sherrone Moore with “cause” after an internal investigation found that he was engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a staffer, who is reportedly identified as Paige Shiver.

Moore is in big trouble and it appears some of his former players are also going to the length unlawfully to do their head coach a favor. Detroit Free Press’ Rainer Sabin reported a source saying to him the following regarding multiple Michigan players trying to threaten the victim to change her testimony:

“The things we’re going to hear in the next 48 hours, four weeks, whatever, are going to be so incredible and mind-boggling. I just got a text with one saying that it’s going to come out that a former Michigan All-American and NFL star, I think you would say, along with some other players, threatened the victim if she dared to change her story and go to Ward Manual.”

Paige Shiver worked as an executive assistant in the Michigan program, but since being tied to Moore, she has gone silent on social media, changing her accounts to private mode.

Former Sherrone Moore Set To Appear In Court Next Month

Shortly after being dismissed by Michigan, Sherrone Moore was accused of invading the victim’s home without her consent and threatening to inflict self-harm. Authorities followed a 911 call, but when they reached there, Moore had already left. However, he was located and brought into custody.

Moore was arraigned in court one day later, facing charges of felony home invasion, stalking, and breaking and entering. Two of those are demeanor charges.

He was released on a $25,000 bond with conditions including no contact with the alleged victim, GPS monitoring, and mental-health treatment. He is next scheduled to appear in court on January 22, 2026, in Washtenaw County, Michigan.

On the other hand, the University of Michigan is also continuing its internal investigation of the circumstances surrounding his firing and conduct.
