Days After Viral Sideline Antics vs. Notre Dame, Michael Irvin Blasts Bill Belichick’s GF Jordon Hudson for UNC On-Field Presence

North Carolina Tar Heels head coach Bill Belichick has been criticized in more ways than one for his team’s performance in Week 1 against TCU. While his team’s on-field performance was criticized, Belichick was also called out for something that had nothing to do with the team. After the blowout loss, his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, was spotted talking to Belichick on the field. Fans and media members criticized Belichick for allowing Hudson to come on the field at that time.

Former NFL star Michael Irvin appeared on the “Come and Talk 2 Me” show on Thursday and spoke about why it was a bad look for Hudson to come on the field. He criticized Belichick days after making a scene at the Miami vs. Notre Dame game, where he showed his excitement after his alma mater, Miami, narrowly won the game.

“You can’t be coming down on the sideline when I’m getting my b*tt whooped like this,” Michael Irvin said (41:40). “You know what I mean. That’s the bad look. His girlfriend come walking down the sideline. You’re Bill Belichick. You had the most control over everything and why is she walking in here and you getting whooped like this? That wasn’t good.

“Just a little bit of awareness. Maybe this ain’t the time to go down and see Bill. I don’t need to add to this a** whooping. Let me just sit up here and sit still because everybody was talking about that too. You know what I mean? It just diminishes his legacy.”

Bill Belichick and the North Carolina Tar Heels Head On the Road for Week 2

Week 1 was a disaster for Bill Belichick and the North Carolina Tar Heels as they lost 48-14 to the TCU Horned Frogs. It was made worse by the Jordon Hudson controversy after the game. However, the team should have an opportunity to redeem itself in Week 2.

The Tar Heels are heading on the road to play Charlotte on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET. North Carolina is favored to win the game, and on the road, they are less likely to have distractions like Jordon Hudson affecting them.
